Mausm does not require an account. Saved cities and your last selected city are stored locally in your browser. Clear your browser’s site data to remove them.

Location

The homepage uses your last selected city first, then approximate location supplied by Vercel from your IP address. If you have already granted browser location permission, it can use that location instead. Precise location permission is requested only when you select the location button. Coordinates are used to choose a nearby supported city and are not stored in our database. Location responses are not shared or cached between visitors.

Service providers

The website is hosted on Vercel, with weather infrastructure on AWS. These providers may process ordinary request information such as IP addresses and technical logs to operate the service. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your browser’s font requests.

Analytics and advertising

This initial release has no advertising or third-party analytics scripts. Our weather sources are credited on the forecast and the About page.

Sharing

Sharing sends the forecast link to the app you choose. If native sharing is unavailable, the link is copied to your clipboard.
